Why am I getting "Authentication Problem" on my new ASUS phone?

Turned on WiFi in settings. Then clicked on the name and it asks for password. I have Show password on so I know the password is correct/ Enter the password and I get "Saved" then "Connecting" then same thing again a number of times before I get the Authentication Problem.

Welcome to the forums! Try this. Switch Wi-Fi off in your phone, reset your router, switch Wi-Fi on and try to sign in again.
