So far I have tried connecting the phone to HTC Sync:
Result: HTC Sync does not recognize it nor is it recognized as a USB Mass storage device however it does show up in the device manager.
Have tried putting it into recovery mode:
Result: Restarts shortly right back into the Fastboot menu
Have tried performing factory reset:
Result: Restarts shortly right back into the Fastboot menu
At the top it says *** LOCKED ***
and apparently S-ON is important as well though I am not sure why, I was simply asked about this by HTC support who were unable to help me other than telling me I could pay $150 and mail in my phone to have it serviced.
How should I proceed / what should my next step be, I have looked into many solutions but no ones phone seems to be as badly screwed up as mine!
