Why does my SD card keep getting removed?

Yesterday, I dropped my phone and I got a notification that said my SD card got removed unexpectedly. I reinserted it and it didn't work, but it works fine with my brother's phone. When I woke up in the morning the SD card worked again. Throughout the day, my SD card kept getting removed. Can someone please tell me what's wrong? I use a ZTE Avid Plus.

Welcome to Android Central! Chances are that something related to the SD slot was damaged from the fall. If this happens with any SD card, then you'll have to bring the phone to a repair shop.
