So ive got a HTC M7 and my router is a Netgear Nighthawk R8000.
    Ive got 3 bands on my R8000 going at the moment, Netgear02 (2.4GHz), Netgear02-5G-1 (5GHz) and Netgear02-5G-2(5GHz)).
The phone is connected to the Netgear02.
The problem is that every few minutes for some reason the phone disconnects from the Netgear02 and tries to authenticate on the Netgear02-5G-2 or Netgear02-5G-1.
Doesnt matter if im right next to the router or across the other side of the house it always does the same thing.
Ive tried 'forgetting' the Netgear02-5G-2 and Netgear02-5G-1 but it stills try to connect to it!
Doesnt do this anywhere else, except for my cousins house which they have the Nightgear R8000 too.
Anyone had an issue like this and know how to fix it? Or if theres any apps that lock onto one wifi?

    Thank you in advance!

Disable any 5GHz radios in the router - some versions of Android phones don't play well on 5GHz.
