My number is showing up wrong on friends phone when I text. Number is correct in her contacts list

I added my phone number and name to a friends phone but accidentally typed in the wrong number. She then texted me using the incorrect number. We realized the mistake and corrected my number in her contacts list. Now, when I TEXT her it still shows the incorrect number on her phone but when I CALL her it shows the correct name and number on her phone. How can we fix the text part to show my correct name/number?

Delete your contact in her phone. Restart the phone. Add your contact back with the correct number. (Texting looks up the number, calling receives it from the carrier.)
