Why are my sent e-mails going to draft? Why cant i send my e-mails that are in draft?

[AC Question]

I have a Verizon ellipsis Droid tablet tied to my Apple smart phone account. I can respond to my e-mails on the phone and they will send. When I attempt to send e-mails from the droid they go into my draft folder. I then can not send them at all. They just set in draft. Every time I try to send them they appear to be sent and then a few minutes later I get a response that they didn send and that I should try again later.

What email app are you using on your Ellipsis tablet? What type of email account is it? Gmail? Exchange? A POP3 or IMAP account from your ISP?
