My Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge gets too hot till the point it is uncomfortable to hold!

My s6 edge get hots everyday when I use it for only 5 mins, usually when I use snapchat it will get hotter and hotter till I have to switch off the phone and leave it to cool down or when I am just looking at Facebook or Instagram. Also, is it normal for the charging cable where it connects to the port to be very hot when charging?

The battery may be bad, or some other internal thing.
No, it's not normal for the lead to get hot.

no its not normal!
my edge will at most get a bit warm when charging and if I use it a lot
I would suggest taking it back to the supplier
in the meantime don't leave it whilst charging if its getting very hot it could be a fire hazard
hope you get it sorted and hope it hasn't put you off the Edge!
