An update came down to my phone for Android Marshmallow yesterday. I installed it on my Galaxy S5 and didn't think much of it. Later that evening I put it in ultra power saving mode. When I got home I went to take it out but the usual option to turn it off is no longer there. The GUI looks like a hybrid of UPSM and the normal GUI but with severely restricted options like when in ultra power saving mode. I am not a programmer but I am technically savy and work in the IT field. The options I see in Android Recovery are: Reboot to boatloader, Apply Update from ADB, Apply Update from SD card, Wipe data/factory reset, Wipe cache partition, Mount /System, View Recovery Logs, and Power Off. Can I use Android Recovery to roll back the update or recover data?
