This probably isn't an Android issue but...
I am moving my settings from a 2nd gen Moto X to a new LG Nexus 5X and I have an issue with my bluetooth settings.
The touchscreen on my Lexus IS is dead so I can't get to the setting screen to have the car so it's bluetooth credentials. Since my Moto X was successfully paired to the car I'm wondering if there is any way to transfer this setup to my new phone.
Again, I know this really isn't a problem with Android but Android may end up being hero!
    Thanks in advance.

The bluetooth pairing is as much a hardware handshake as it is a software handshake. It's not likely you'll be able to connect to the car even if you could get the settings to transfer from one phone to the other.

Yup unlikely. Each device had a bluetooth ID so they can be identified as that device. The car is recognizing the ID of the bluetooth device in the Moto X. The ID on the Nexus would be different.

That is what I feared. This phone is going to get expensive if I have to replace the head unit in my car!
    Thanks all.

    Welcome to AC.

In all fairness to the phone, it's not the phone's fault.
