Samsung tablet magnetic cover kills mobile phone battery?

I had my samsung tablet in its magnetic cover. My mobile phone was sitting on top of it. I noticed the screen kept turning on, on its own, but i didnt think much of it. Now, when i charge up my phone, it goes flat within 2hrs, whilst not being used. Has the magnet in the tablet cover effected my phones battery?

That is a very interesting question! I would think not, because why would the magnetic cover not affect the tablet battery? I would say though that it can't be ruled out as a possibility!
