Why is there an avast account showing on my device?

Hi i am new here! I just bought a Galaxy tablet and downloaded avast mobile security fom google play and I noticed in my account settings where it says Google account, which i do have, but right underneath that it says Avast account and I never created an Avast account so I am wondering is this legit and how did this Advast account get there? I researched on avast mobile security and it seems all good but that account it's making me wonder... please let me know thank you
