Thread button in the stock email app doesn't work.

After i ran the latest 6.p1 update, If you open an email using the stock email app, you cannot view the thread by clicking on the thread button. The thread button does nothing.

You can try wiping cache partition in recovery. no worries, no data gets deleted. might help ya.

Same issue. The email app version is 3.3.17. Cache has been wiped as well and the same behavior. Hitting the "thread" button doesn't do anything. The application auto rolls up emails into conversations and I don't see emails.

Issue resolved.

Go to Security -- other security setting - device administrator - turn off email
This will erase all mail account.
After that go to Applications -- Application manager -- Email -- Storage -- Clear both Data and Cache
Open Email app again and set up account again. Thread button should work.
