Why doesn't my data work?

Hey guys! So I got a new Alcatel phone yesterday and my data doesn't seem to be working. I feel like I have tried everything.... Can someone please help me! Thanks.

Have you spoken to your carrier about it? They will help you to eliminate several possible causes, at least.
Also, what have you tried, so that we don't suggest things that you have in fact already tried?
