why is google play services using 40 % of my battery

i have tried everything i could find on the internet, but i could figure this one out. i have no strange apps. it started after android update 6.0.1. and i enabled safe mode, and it still was eating 40 % of my battery. so i think it is not acceptible. maybe some one can help...

p.s. i have screenshot, but oi can not upload it here for some reason

Google Play Services handles location requests by other apps, I believe, so check your Location settings and permissions.

Go into settings, accounts and google. See if anything has been trying to sync and not done it. I also noticed items were checked to sync that I do not use.
