Our credit card was used fraudulently to purchase a boost mobile phone.

AC Question

All the purchases were on-line so not traceable. Do the card companies contact you to reverse the charges?

Hi, have you spoken to your Credit Card company? also if someone has bought a phone illegally from you, using your credit card then the store where they bought it from might have some info about the seller. Either way make sure you contact the cc company.

Welcome to the forums. I wouldn't think think they are untraceable. Items have to be shipped somewhere with a name. Even if it's FedEx or UPS diverted to a store, they usually check IDs. Post Office Boxes have to be set up prior and an ID is checked.

But like the others have said, contact your credit card company. They should reverse the charges, issue you a new card, and start doing their own investigation of finding these people.
