is there a way to make my Galaxy s3 usable as a tv remote for a vizio tv

I have Verizon Gal S3 that I would likevto use as tv remote for my Vizio E220VA TV. This is not a smart tv. I know that the S3 does not have an ir blaster. Can this be downloaded.

No, that's not possible. THe IR Blaster is hardware. The only other method is over Wi-Fi but that TV lacks wi-fi
