Can i delete these files?

I'm trying to make room on my phone storage to update apps that i use so I'm attempting to move some stuff onto my SD card. However, when I plug my phone into my computer and the samsung folder finally opens, it takes forever to load because it seems I have 1,000 of these text documents. I have no idea what they are, when I open them up, its a bunch of random information that seems absolutely useless. Assuming its saved on the SD card, I'm thinking its safe to delete them all so it will quicken up the loading time. But I'm also afraid that they maybe be (somewhat) important so I'm not sure if I should delete them all. It looks like they just may be all of my text messages that are for whatever reason being saved on the card. Can anyone confirm this so I can delete them safely or just deal with the slowness?
