How do i edit contacts

I want to edit information on my contact list

Welcome to the forums. What device do you have? In most phones you need to open your contacts app, tap on the avatar of the one you want to edit and then select the edit/pencil icon top right. In some others you need to long press on the contact name.

Easiest way (assuming they're all Google contacts - if not, see the Contacts section at Backing up an Android Device. (Or you can just save them all to a file, read that file in as Google contacts, sync the phone, and they'll be at Google Contacts.

From there, using a laptop or desktop and a web browser, go to Google Contacts and change anything you like, then sync the phone. (It's easier on a larger device than on a phone.)
