Samsung Galaxy Note 5 AT&T unlocked update?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 AT&T unlocked running Metro PCS and I keep trying to get the update through settings, however, it says my phone is up to date but it isn't. How can I upgrade it if my phone is unlocked?

Have you checked Samsung KIES3? I used the older version for my Note 2. I wouldn't claim updates showed up right away after release but they would in time.

Kies 3 doesn't work with Note 5.

It should kies 2.6 is for devices running Android under 4.3... Kies 4.3 and above

Yeah but Samsung has their "new" thing and when I connect my Note 5 It tells me it's not compatible with Kies 3. The new thing they have is just some program to move files between my computer and Note 5, but it doesn't update firmware like the Kies 3 does
