My friend recently bought a galaxy s5 with 2 s-view covers. one original, one 3rd party.
when you boot up the phone with the s-view case on. the boot animation with the big SAMSUNG logo is displayed in the view of the s-view. the s-view will be shown and if the lid is open, all the touchscreen that is not of the s-view cant be used. but the screen is not in s-view.
if you put on the s-view case on after booting up.
the s-view will not work but will show up in accessoiries settings.
PS: the phone will also sometimes crash if you put on the case while it is on.
