why cant i call/texts nor receive calls??

[AC Question]

I have an Alcatel one touch pop icon...my carrier is Straight talk, and always has been for this phone (had it for a year).

I set my phone to charge yesterday looked away and back at my phone and it said "activate phone", I didn't click it, but when I cleared it off my screen it showed back up (kept occuring) so finally I clicked "activate phone". Since then I cannot make/receive calls. My texts will not send BUT I can receive SOME texts. Also my internet works as well as apps that are internet based such as fb. Well when I try to dial out I get an automated message stating my "welcome to Verizon wireless there was an error in processing your call, please power down then try again. If problem persists call #8899" I don't understand why it would say this if I have a straight talk phone/account (its a tracfone I bought specifically as straight talk carrier). I check my straight talk mobile account and it says my phone is activated with them.

Can anyone help me to fix this issue? I'm trying not to need to buy a new phone, I'm gonna be starting college and funds are low.
