Problem with WiFi after display replacement on a android phone

Hi guys,
i recently replaced an LCD because of broken glass on my Lenovo S60. The process went great but after that i noticed i cannot connect to any WiFi. Phone finds all wifi networks with a good signal strength but there is an "WIFI AUTHENTIFICATION ERROR" with any wifi i try to connect. I tried hard reset and some other stuff but it didnt work.

Do you think it can be software issue or i just ****ed up the wifi during replacement of LCD?

Hmm it is quite easy to accidentally disconnect the wifi/bt module. But you wouldn't see any wifi networks. Is your device displaying a mac address? Does Bluetooth Work?

hmm, thank you for a reply, i thought WiFi/BT module is part of the motherboard, isn't it? But MAC adress is showing up, and i BT can be turned on, i can try tomorrow its functionality.


EDIT: MAC adress is showing up but IP adress is not showing up, i dont know if it is normal onr not :)

Hmmm. THis is strange. When at home can you make your Wi-Fi network "open" by removing the password and see if you can access it?

yes i tried make wifi open, it didnt help. Next step is to try flash new android ROM to see if it helps, i hope so
