Why is my lock screen showing 'swipe' and not 'pattern' even though the settings says otherwise?

Downloaded locker master, used it, uninstalled it and the default lock screen now shows only 'swipe' even though the screen lock is 'pattern'. Please help.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you certain you completely uninstalled it? Go to Settings>Security>Device Administrators, and make sure it isn't listed there.

Do you have Smart Lock turned on? Or has the "Automatically Lock" interval been set to some very long time (i.e, the time between when the screen turns off automatically and when the screen lock is activated)?
