Try ringing in to your voice mail. It should offer you a menu of options. Who is your Provider?

It's Telus. Don't know what the number is, to dial into Voicemail. In case a pop-up will tell me that when I receive a voicemail, I'm now going to 'phone myself from another 'phone and leave myself a voicemail.

Hah! discovered when I phoned myself, that the voicemail message that was there from my old phone, is still there. So I guess it's stored by my Provider, not on my 'phone.

Thanks, and hopefully this answer will help some other lost person!

Yes, voicemail is a function of the provider, not the phone.
