Can I update my Kyocera?

My Kyocera is running 4.3, so it's possible that there isn't even an update available for it. But when I tap "system updates" in my settings, I only ever get a pop up that says "Disconnected: Couldn't communicate with the server. Try again later." So I can't even see if it's possible.
