Are even energy-efficient wireless chargers truly environmentally-friendly?

Today happy recipient of wireless charger (Pleson C300) for my samsung cell phone. But have learned that ordinary chargers left connected all the time pose a considerable collective electricity drain and now wonder if we can really use these wireless ones with a good conscience for the planet.

There's not much you can do about what anyone else does. If your conscience bothers you, just plug in when you need to use your chargers, whatever kind, and unplug when you're done.
