From time to time I used to get those pop ups from Google telling me that my kindle had a virus and it would take me to the page with the broken robot image, the google logo at the top, and the countdown. It's pretty obvious this is a scam, but this pop up won't stop appearing. I haven't downloaded any weird apps or anything, so I don't know what the problem could be. Help?

That sounds like spam -- I would ignore it. Try installing something like Avast to see if you have any malware on your phone. Or it could possibly be the site you're visiting.

As Almeuit said, that is just spam and i think you should ignore it. Close the tab and go further on your internet surfing.
