when I get more than one text message I can't read them without going onto the message app itself.

like, if I get a text from two different people it'll just list their names. or if I get more than one from that person it just says the number of messages. is there any way I can change this so I can see all messages separately in the notification thing, like how it is with Apple phones? I'm on a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime. basically asking if there's any way to separate text notifications.
