Nexus 5 6.0.1 new update Speaker issues

[AC Question]

I recently installed a new update to my Nexus 5 (around 3 weeks ago or so), and it totally screwed up my speaker,

Every time I receive a call and activate the speaker - the callers hear themselves twice (echo)
and speaker sound is really low now even in max volume (compared to before update)

anyone knows how to fix it? or if I need to send a complaint to android or something?

The July security patch has been said to have caused some volume trouble if you're referring to that.
