    Hi Guys,

just wanted to share a sad story of mine, I fell in shallow waters, didn't know the phone is in my pocket, later after watching too many vids of how to de-moisturize your phone, I put it inside the un-cooked rice for more then 24 hours. Today morning when I tried to boot it up using my charger it shows odin mode(I'm not aware of it as much) mmc_fail. How to overcome it? I'm preety much aware the water has reached inside the phone? Answers will be appreciated!!

I hate to say this but I think the phone is gone. He already charged it, moisture already got inside and did it's corrosive damage. I think you may need to consider replacing it. The steps in that thread really require you to catch it VERY early on!

Might be worth trying BUT don't spend any money on it, better save your rupees for a new phone!

If that water reached the inside, it would have shorted out some electronics, I suspect pkcable is right....
