I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 that is locked to Rogers and running Android 4.4.2. I wanted to unlock the phone and get it to run on Virgin Mobile so I bought an unlock code from ebay. When I put in my Virgin Mobile SIM card, the phone does not seem to detect it. The phone just says "no sim card detected" and the unlock prompt does not pop up. I typed in a phone code #7465625*638*# to get the unlock prompt to pup up, but when I type in my unlock code, it fails to unlock. I took it to a cell phone shop and they tried to replace the sim reader but that did not help either. Has anyone faced this issue before? Is there any way to unlock my phone.
