AC Question

I have a galaxy s6 and it has been smashed. I need to get the content off the phone when it plugs into the computer it doesnt even register. The screen is completely black however it glows a blue light at the top of the phone.

If your PC doesn't see the phone it could be you don't have Samsung USB drivers installed. If you have previously been able to connect to your PC the device may not be booting up which means you won't be able to recover the data. Even if it can see the phone you won't be able to access anything because of the lock screen but if you set up a Samsung account you can unlock it remotely

Is there any way to remove the internal hard drive ?

No, it's a chip on the motherboard. When I say no, it is not something a hobbyist could do. It's a visit to a data recovery specialist which will cost big bucks. If you are looking to recover things like pictures, were these backed up to Google?
