AC Question

I am not pleased with this app and it needs to be deactivated prior to uninstalling, how do I deactivate the app?

What device?

On my Nexus 6P running 6.0.1, you would go to Settings > Security > Device administrators and uncheck the Outlook app there.

On my Samsung tablet (Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 running 5.5.1) it's Settings > General > Security > Device Administrators.

The suggestion came from this MS forum post > remove outlook app in android - Microsoft Community

If you don't use either of those devices, the above should give you an idea of where to look.

Welcome to Android Central! Did Outlook come preinstalled? If so, you probably can't uninstall it unless you root the phone. You could probably Disable it, though. Go to Settings>Apps>All, select Outlook, and look for either an Uninstall or Disable button.
