SD card issue (takes 10 min for tablet to see card & can't move apps)

Here is an odd issue I am having with my Samsung S 8.5

I was moving a couple of apps to my SD card a couple of days ago & my tablet crashed.

Sine then if I turn my tablet off it takes 10 - 15 minutes after starting up for it to realise it has an SD card installed. I also am unable to move any apps to the SD now.

Any ideas of how I can fix this?
