International s7 work on at&t LTE?

Seeing new s7 edge deals for about the same price as ones on swappa under AT&T. Question is can I buy a new international s7 and get LTE on AT&T?

Also I see some post that mention a region lock on international versions??

The Global and AT&T version share pretty much all LTE bands with the exception of one (1) from what I see. As long as it's unlocked it should work. However, I'm not sure how updates will work if you wish to receive OTA updates. I would suggest doing researching as much as you can before purchasing to make sure it's compatible.
