Wifi connection issues since android system update to 6.0.1 a few weeks ago

I have been having non stop wifi connection problems since the system update to 6.0.1 a few weeks ago on my samsung galaxy s6 active. Is there a solution? I have troubleshooted everything possible. I am not happy I have to use my 4G while at home sitting next to my wifi that works just fine on every other device I have except for my phone. If this is not corrected Samsung should be forking out money to those that are having to use there mobile data
