How do I transfer photos from my Samsung Smart phone to my desktop?

I can't transfer pictures from my Samsung phone to my desktop.

What OS is on the desktop? Did you install the Samsung USB drivers?

Welcome to Android Central! If you have a PC, then connect the phone to the PC via USB, swipe down the notification panel, tap the USB icon, and make sure MTP (or File Transfer) is selected. Then on the PC, open Windows Explorer, select the phone in the device list, and drag and drop the files to the computer hard drive.
