Volume lowering itself down on my tablet.

I love listening to music when the volume is really high, but I once accidentally shutdown my tablet and I couldn't increase the volume as much as I wanted to afterwards. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Welcome to Android Central! Which tablet? Is it giving you a warning about hearing loss when you try to increase the volume above a certain level?
