How do i turn off the screen overlay on a samsung note 5 ?

I have a note 5 and on some apps like visual vm and on fifa 16 it says i need to permit the storage and when it takes me to the settings it then tells me to turn off the screen overlay but then on the list the apps im trying to work with done appear help please no one at tmobile was able to help

Odd "screen overlay" pop up shows up often with some apps, what is it and how to properly select it?

Try settings, applications, application manager and then in the upper right corner select more. From there, select "Apps. that can appear on top", see if the application you are looking for are listed there and turn them off.

Once i to that and i find the app im wanting to work with it doesnt give me the option to turn them off just says enabled and on the app to the right it says off and the little arrow to move to left or right is greyed out etc

Try booting into safe mode first, then try to see if you can change the settings.
