HTC Desire not receiving texts from LG G4 phones in MMS

[AC Question]

Ever since LG G4 updated to the new OS last month, my daughter's HTC Desire does not show the text from our LG G4 phones over MMS Group Text. In the same Group Text, my other daughter's S6 text comes through fine. The Group chat shows my name and my wife's name, but no text, just an empty bubble.

Individual SMS text from our LG G4 phones come through fine on HTC Desire.

Welcome to Android Central! On the G4, can you send photos over text? If not, make sure your mobile data is turned on, since MMS requires mobile data, not voice signal or wi-fi.

AT&T is having me do a full backup of the LG G4 phone and then do a Master Reset.
AT&T says this is a problem with the latest 6.0 update and advised to wait for 6.1 update.
AT&T says ignore Software Update after reset until 6.1 is announced for LG G4s.
