Didn't you read the thread? The solution is there!!
With all due respect, that is a workaround, not a solution. Disabling the integration stops the cloudagent error, but you lose the Dropbox integration, which is what I care about. Something that works conditionally doesn't actually work. Just gotta wait for Samsung or Dropbox to unbreak whatever they broke.

It works! Sign out of Drop box and sign back in.... I hope this doesn't mean all of our Samsung Notes have been Hacked!!!!!

I have a Samsung Galaxy Avant for well over a year a just today I started getting this annoying error message only when using the Gallery app to view images. The message instantly pops up and when I hit OK the gallery just shuts down so it's impossible for me to view my images and videos. I cannot turn off or disable the CloudAgent app under the application manager in settings, it doesn't give me any such option. If someone can tell me how to insert screenshots I will be happy to do so. Thank you.

I signed out of Dropbox and Cloud agent error stopped. Has something to do with dropbox. I signed back into Dropbox and everything is fine, error message no longer pops up.

Had the same message appear suddenly yesterday. Could not even find the CloudAgent app on my S5. However I ran the 360 Security booster to clean up my files and I don't get the message anymore and can access my Gallery. 360 Security can be downloaded from the Play Store. Hope this helps.

I have a Galaxy S3 and the same problem started for me on August 2 as well. I tried all the suggest methods but the issue is still there. I am now almost convinced to switch to an iPhone.

    Hi,
The issue is related to Dropbox - or at least a Samsung component which interacts with it. Here's a workaround for now:...
    .
Just did steps 1 to 3 on Samsung s4 + android 5.x + Dropbox and it seems ok so far. After step 1, I signed in to Dropbox in browser with no issues. I went to change my Dropbox password and got a "recently expired" message in process of changing it. Not sure why but logged in again and set a new password. I also found my email address was flagged on https://haveibeenpwned.com/). I don't know if password changing is relevant to this issue but I am mentioning it in case it helps others (just remember to sign in with new password on all your devices). I left Dropbox linked, that is, step 4 not done and I was not prompted to unlink. I will leave it linked as I use the syncing photos to Dropbox feature. If it stops working again I will add reply to this comment.

Referring to comment #12 Just try sign out and sign in to Dropbox that may be sufficient to clear error and allow integration to resume (=syncing to dropbox). Did that work for you?

That doesnt work for me either. Ive had my Note 3 since new and have never used or even setup drop box and it still has the problem.
So Ive finally set it up and theres still no difference

But what I did find was that if you goto the app store and download Quickpic and use that to view your photos, the error doesnt come up.
but the error still pops up at random times aswell.
    I hope that helps

"cloud agent" seem to imply some sort of syncing. Are you syncing photos using any other service (Samsung, Google etc) if so I would apply same method sign out of cloud service and retest. Also turning of sync - sync button in notification area have any effect on your problem?

I have a Samsung S3 which has been perfect until yesterday when I started getting this message 'unfortunately cloud agent has stopped' and I cannot access my gallery. Googled views on this and tried to disable cloud agent but that didn't work. In a way I am so happy that my phone is not at fault but Samsung. Will put up with it until Samsung rectifies the problem as I have Dropbox as an alternative. Very annoying but now reassured with your posts.

    2. Check Gallery and/or other apps which would crash - they should work fine now.
    3. Open Dropbox and sign in again.
    4. If/when prompted, DO NOT link your account with the Samsung Device widget.

So, Dropbox works as an app in its own right but sadly isn't integrated with Gallery, My Files etc. For me this isn't an issue. Now to wait for an official fix/update.

    Jonty.

    Thanks, it works for me.

Have an s4. Same problem. Started yesterday or the day before. The last change i remember before the issue was an update for the pokemon go app. I wonder if it has anything to do with that? Has anyone found a solution?

I have a Galaxy camera and just starting getting the message "Unfortunately CloudAgent has stopped". All the messages I have seen pertain to phones and tablets, and the fixes don't seem to match what I can do on the camera. Anyone know how to fix this on my camera before we leave on vacation?
