    When I try using the web I keep getting these annoying pop ups saying my battery is infected or damaged due to adult content but I never go on adult sites what can I do

    Has nothing to do with adult sites. You have malware from downloading an app. Have you sideloaded an app recently? This is the most common place to get malware.

    Welcome to Android Central! If this only happens while browsing, it might just be a popup ad related to one of the websites you visit. As AlphaTango414 mentioned, it doesn't have to be an adult site--you can get these kinds of bogus scare ads on many kinds of sites. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have malware installed to the phone, though, if you only see the messages while browsing--I would start by avoiding those sites altogether, and seeing if the problem persists.
