Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini got Wet! What do I do? It won't Charge or Turn on!
I've read many forums and have seen that I'm in a bit of a bigger problem than many other wet phones. My S4 Mini was in my pocket as I went into a pool. I didn't realize this until later, though. I had no opportunity to dry it or put it in rice until the next day. So I did for about 48 hours. The condensation within my camera had gone, so I assumed it was okay to see if it was working. I charged it with the battery, without it, and nothing worked or even did anything. I don't THINK the battery ran out, so I'm hoping I'm doing something wrong in my method or that at the maximum, only the battery was damaged. But I'm no expert at telling them apart. What are my options? What should I be doing/do? By the way, the strips on my battery and in my phone are still white. Please help!

Hey, this is the author, and I now realize that the strips aren't originally purely white, I think it had stripes before. Disregard the part about me saying it was okay... :(

I think it's broken. Water shorts out the chips inside and kills them.

Plan on getting a new device. Even if you get it to turn back on, it won't last too long due to corrosion caused by it getting wet.
