Will my phone still get updates if it is jailbroken?

Hey i'm Alex, I have a moto e 1st gen, I unlocked the boot loader and installed cwm but have not rooted it, will I still get updates. The reason i'm asking this question is because i'm stuck on 5.1 lollipop and my phone says i'm up to date so i'm really confused. I thank you for your time. - Alex
