LGL86C Optimus Most apps say 'not compatible' Is there anything to do?

Most apps I want to use say they are not compatible. The software upgrade doesn't show any upgrades.
Oh and one app that I have been using daily just stopped working even when I cleared cache and uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times or more.

Is there a way to fix this? And is there a way to make my phone compatible with the apps or do I just have to buy a new phone that has instead of 4.0.4 a 5?

most of the games or apps support higher versions now. facebook do support some lower versions. but it is better if you upgrade into something better that is 5.0 or above phones
