Why is My Phone Acting Oddly?

Hello,

I'm not sure why, but my new Samsung Galaxy On5 is acting oddly? First, I've received random calls from the same person, but I didn't recognize the number. A few days later, my phone began randomly calling random phone numbers! Now, my apps are beginning to randomly open like Facebook, Google, wifi, Camera, Clock, Settings, My Files, Calendar, and ect!? On top off that, my phone is now having random nonsense text like C.F., ?!/.!, 30v, XX, oi, xxx, x, ig, 1sa, and cba in my Memo app. It's a new phone too!

Sounds like a dialer virus, or one that's capable of doing worse things. If I were you, I'd back up my data and do a factory reset. Be sure to disable any automatic reinstalls of your apps in case one of them is the cause of your issues. Also, from what you describe, I would seriously think about changing any passwords for any accounts you've accessed while on your phone. Might be overboard, but better safe than sorry.
