When I go to save high res image e.g. 4000x2500, it only seems to download a thumbnail size never exceeding 400kb. Is there a way to overcome this?

Where are you downloading from? How are you downloading the image? Got a link so I can try it?

Hi, I'm using motorola moto G 3rd Gen. I save the images from chrome image previews. I go to see the original image that brings up the large image then press and hold to 'save image'. However. it's when i go to 'downloads' to view the file only to find that they are downloaded in thumbnail size bot exceeding 400kb.

I just downloaded a high res photo that was 1.5mb in both Chrome and my default Samsung browser. All I did was search Google images and then viewed the image and saved it. It could be the website you're downloading from doesn't allow HD downloads.
