    I have been using Metropcs for almost 2 years. My Galaxy Avant got minimal to 'ok' reception, but the last month or so sometimes would freeze, be very slow. Went to Metropcs last week and told them the problem (also wanted to control app permissions as I believe that is a way that private info can be hacked). Immediately at home had problems getting connection. About 50% of the time phone freezes! will get 'no/lost connection' notice. I went to Metropcs and he will only order a new phone under warranty. I have an idea these new phones that are supposed to be working with the tower/signal upgrades are not working out so well in general. What do you think? Also, I believe I should be able to get my money back- what a scam, but I need to stay with Metro due to fixed income.

    Welcome to Android Central! Did you get the Avant from MetroPCS to begin with? Have you tried a replacement SIM?
