Asus fe375cg imei problem

i have fonepad 7 fe375cg
my imei hve broken plz say how to fix
my android is 5.0.1
.
.
.
or how can i downgrade in to kitkat

i remove battery then my imei removed
then i do every thing but cant fix it
after that i root it but cant anything to fix the problem somebody tell me u must downgrade to kitkat it may be fixed
i dont know how to downgrade it

The IMEI shouldn't just disappear after removing the battery. Since the Fonepad 7 doesn't have a user-removable battery, I assume you opened it up yourself, correct? You might have damaged the hardware.

Or did you just get this phone from someone else as a used item? If so, I'd be concerned about it being a stolen item, since a blacklisted phone may report a null IMEI.
