How to get correct date on edited photos when copy from S7 SD card to PC?

Hello. I`ve been on a vacation, and take 4-500 photos on my S7, and stored them on the SD card. Most of the photos have later been edited on Photo gallery on the phone. When you edit a photo, it makes a new file, with a new taken date. When I watch the photos in Photo Gallery, they still are in correct sequence after date taken, but when I copy them to my laptop, and watch them there, they are sorted by the date edited. How can I sort them after date taken on my laptop? Thanks for any reply

You'll need to find an exif sorter for you PC. Something like Amok exif sorter might work, but I've not used it myself so I can't tell you if it'll do what you want. Search google for more exif sorter programs.
